SUZZY ROBINSON
PADI Certified Dive Master
Suzzy Robinson, known as “The Snorkel Whisperer” is a Certified Dive Master, and has held a 100 Ton Coast Guard Captain’s License for over 20 years. She has experience spanning the past four decades organizing and guiding more than 30 International Dive Tours to some of the most remote and pristine ocean destinations around the world. A few of those include Papua New Guinea, The Galapagos Islands, Raja Ampat and The Andaman Islands.
Suzzy’s inspiration and loyal commitment to the dive industry stem from both her love of the ocean, and the driving desire to educate people about 1) the wonders of the underwater world and 2) the challenges our precious marine environment is facing today. This has led Suzzy to contribute to several marine books and countless articles, as well as being a widely-published underwater photo model.
Suzzy has received numerous awards, and was a 2013 “Women Divers Hall of Fame” Nominee. She garnered praise from publications like Sunset Magazine for her ability to passionately weave a lifetime of experience into every dive or snorkel trip that she shares, making each adventure exciting and memorable for all. Suzzy created Maui Snorkel Tours over 20 years ago, and currently introduces about 2000 people a year to the reefs and waters of Hawai’i.
She has partnered with the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, a non-profit organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Some of Suzzy’s most appreciated, touching and meaningful moments have been sharing snorkeling with these children and their families.
As an “Ambassador of the Ocean,” Suzzy feels deeply fortunate for the opportunity to spend time in the water while inspiring others to respect, protect and appreciate our marine environment. Suzzy looks forward to passing that preservation on to you, your family, and for generations to come.
KERRY KIENE
Kerry has been living on Maui and diving in its beautiful waters for 30 years. She has been a PADI Master Instructor for 25 years, certified over 1,000+ students and worked with ERDA for the past 15 years. With her many years of experience, Kerry is an excellent and patient instructor. If you are interested in trying out diving or learning to scuba dive, she would love to take you underwater to see the other half of Maui and show you some of her favorite critters, such as nudibranchs and frog fish.
